IDEAL LENGTH

Have you ever tried to touch a whale? Maybe give it a kiss - literally? If you love whales and want to closely interact with these majestic and highly intelligent creatures then this experience is designed for you.

Come join us for these incredible whale encounters and not only meet but also be greeted by one of the friendliest whales in the ocean - the gray whale. Gray whales love respectful visitors and will come to meet and interact with humans, especially children!

This very special whale encounter can be experienced in three ocean lagoons on the very remote areas of the west coast of Central Baja California. These lagoons are the birthing and mating grounds for this specific population of gray whales. Since location matters for the experience, we will choose the best lagoon for each of our trips.

The Awe-Inspiring Moment

You will be in the midst of these gigantic creatures in their own environment. You will feel their presence, experience your own vulnerability due to their sheer size and power, but most importantly you will be aware of their gentleness and curiosity. This excursion will not only give you a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but a learning opportunity to carry with you forever.

Gray Whale Insight

The gray whale migrates more than 10,000 miles between their summer feeding grounds in the Arctic and the breeding grounds in coastal lagoons of the Southern Baja Peninsula. The first whales arrive around January and by mid-February the bulk of the whales move to the lagoons. Between February and March the whales will start giving birth to their new calves, start nursing them and begin mating again. When the young calves are ready for the long journey back, the mother and their calves will start the long journey north. Usually this happens around late March through April. This migration, breeding, mating, and re-migration only occur for the first few months of the year, so contact us to make your reservations now!
